You can't take admission in D.Y.Patil College of Engineering directly in 2nd year, as you are not into Diploma. Only Diploma students are allowed for going directly into 2nd year through lateral entry.

There is no Diploma in Engineering through correspondence. Technical education cannot be gained through distance mode. Also, Supreme Court has issued restrictions against such courses.
