A professional photographer may work independently or under the supervision of others. One may also work as a freelancer.
News papers, magazines and websites are known to hire photographers. Salary depends on the role that a photographer goes for. Average starting salary for a staff photographer could be anywhere between 10-25K.

Hi,
The GATE cut off is depends upon various factors as listed below and varies yearly and institute wise. The following factors will be considered during the preparation process of GATE cutoff for IITs and NITs:
1. Number of applicants for the specific course
2. Previous years cutoff trend
3. Difficulty level of the examination
4. Number of seats available for the course
Further the GATE score above 600 is good enough for getting admission in NITs, and IITs. In ECE branch.

It is interesting to hear that you need to do Diploma after B.Tech. It is better to take MS from Canada instead of Diploma.
