No, you cannot. There are no lateral entry admissions in IITs and NITs till now.
So, you may opt for other colleges through lateral entry.

After the 1st year, whether you pass/attempt first year examinations or not, you are eligible to seek admission to 2nd year M.Com by submitting the Course Registration Form as per the schedule notified by the university. Normally, the university sends the Course Registration Form in the month of January, which is to be submitted to the university on or before 31st March along with a fee of Rs. 4000. There is no pre defined cutt off but one need have good score in CAT/ MAT or any other valid test score .The selection is based on test score, GD/PI and minimum requirment of 50 % .
