Its good that you are planning to pursue a language as it will add value to your resume and also people with knowledge about an extra language are given more preference in tourism industry. German is a good language and is also easy to learn. I would suggest you to join a good foreign language institute rather than gong for a college, a regular three months course will be more than enough and rest you will learn once you start to communicate in German.
