Yes, you can get admission in a polytechnic for doing Diploma after class 10th. But for getting admission in an engineering college, one needs to pass class 12th. Of course, one can take lateral admission in the 2nd year of engineering after completing Diploma too.

The admission is based on your CGPA in Bachelor's degree (B.Tech). There is no entrance exam for M.Tech at BSAU.
