Admission will be done through the centralized admission process. To get eligible for the above course candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects: Mathematics or Biology (Botany and Zoology) from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State or Outside Maharashtra State.

Of course, to join FTII a degree is mandatory irrespective of the specialization you choose. They offer Master's degree and has an entrance exam for admission which by the way is tough enough to filter the top most technicians. They exam is two staged, theoretical written exam followed by an interview.
