Yes, you can definitely enter the field of Management even after completion of your M.Tech. Fundamentally, the eligibility for Management courses or MBA is graduation from any field, it could be Science, arts, nursing, medicine, engineering etc., any field will do. Because of this post-graduation also is accepted. Going forward if after graduation or post-graduation you have worked for couple of years or 4-5 years in the industry, then IIMS offer along with some other business schools what is called as executive MBA. As you are seeing for post Diploma, colleges will be better as compared to universities. Colleges are more technical, while universities have more theory part, as colleges are technical. Job prospects are more as compared to universities. There are many good SPP colleges in Canada. As advantages of colleges are, they have low tuition fees as compared to universities.

It is very nice to see your enthusiasm and interest in doing your MBA, even if by correspondence. You can definitely go places after completion of your MBA. Actually, your current job may not require a person with MBA qualification & hence you will find that after you acquire this great qualification you will be in a different league all together and you can be in the different position in a different company. In view of this instead of looking for an MBA which is suiting your current position you should do MBA in that topic which interests you or fascinates you greatly. Best wishes to you.
