Obviously your decision is right. LM Thapar School of Management is best for pursue MBA. It is provide a two-year full time programme with ten specializations. Their programme goal is to develop globally sensitive, scholarly practitioners with social entrepreneurial mindset. An MBA degree from Thapar is very much appreciated while seeking job opportunities. Other than that, Their Placements are very good. Many well-known companies like American express, Delloitte, EY etc. Come to Thapar and provide high package jobs to the students. You should definitely consider LMTSM to pursue your MBA.

Being an alumni of this institute I can definitely say that the average package is not at all near to the figure that has been mentioned in other answers. During our batch that is of 14-16, the average was around 4 lakh or may be less than that. And for finance if you get placed in a proper finance profile you should be lucky, because more than 90% companies that comes for hiring are for Sales profile. And yes, this is not a paid answer/review. I just want whoever is reading this answer should be a aware of the reality & should have realistic expectation.
