You can opt for either course. You will have to complete your doctorate in astrophysics to become an astrophysicist. It is a very wide field and thus no watertight compartments can be made. So there are fields like B.Tech in space tech or B.Sc. In astrophysics, etc.

But if your PGDM is not from any gazetted institute and nor approved by AICTE then it's a fake degree. No, you can not pursue PhD right after doing PGDM or PGPM course. For that, you must have MBA degree. After PGDM or PGPM, you have to do MBA for a PhD.
