To apply for TSEdCET, students must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. Reserved category students may get relaxation. They should also meet age and subject requirements.

TSEdCET has one single paper. It includes different sections, General Knowledge, Teaching Aptitude, and subject-specific questions. All sections are combined into one exam.

BCECE exam is conducted offline (pen and paper mode) for 90 minutes. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in each paper. Each question carries 4 marks. Negative marking is done for wrong answers.
