The need of IELTS test for obtaining a student visa is based on two things-
- Your course: If your selected course is not offered in English then, you might not be required to appear for the IELTS test.
- Alternatives: In case your college and visa officials permit, you can attempt to write other English tests like TOEFL, Duolingo and PTE.
