Just completing B.Ed would not lead you to a government job. After B.Ed, you need to qualify certain exams such as TET or STET etc. To get government. Job and if you want to teach in colleges then you should do MCA and you need to qualify NET or SLET. Admissions in MCA course is given on the basis of all India basis entrance examinations. 4 years agoHi Dear, If it is your aim to become a teacher of computer applications in a school, you can do BCA first and then go for B.Ed but doing it after graduation, you will be a teacher to lower classes. B.Ed is offered at LPU as a 2 year programme. It is advisable to complete you post graduation in the same field. If you want to be a teacher for higher classes. Even after completing your post graduation you can pursue B.Ed-M. Ed integrated programme also. Yes a B.Ed is a sufficient requirement for becoming a government teacher. You have asked for BCA MCA this too is a good option as in the integrated course you will get the benefits of fee structure. You can also pursue a career in academics if you go for a Ph.D. after MCA. Then you will become a professor in a reputed university. To get a good job, B.Ed after MCA is a better option. Otherwise, there're so many entrance that you're supposed to clear to get a government job.

If you are doing BCA and MCA, then there is no need to go for B.Ed in computer science. There are less chances to become a government school teacher. Most probably try in private organisations.
