It's really very hard to decide whether to choose a branch over a college or college over the branch. I was allotted a seat in Anna University, Chennai but the branch is average (I was not interested in it). So I opted for CSE in a central university just because I was interested in it. You have to deal with what you choose throughout your whole life. Different people will have different point of views but again if I have to choose it, I will settle down with the same choice.

Dear aspirant, First of all, students have to remember that they need to choose a branch or specialisation of B.Tech on the basis of their aspirations or career objectives. It should be based on the type of profession or career that they would like to opt for. You have to take into account what you are actually passionate about. You must have some hidden talent, like others, and it is essential for you to determine the same. It is always important to do what your mind and heart says. Then, you will be successful in choosing an appropriate specialisation and make hay in your career. Even before you choose a specialisation in B.Tech. , i

Hi. It depends on your rank in entrance exam and on your interest. With the advent of automation, internet, and data revolution, undoubtedly, Computer Science Engineering is the most sought after career-course for engineering aspirants. I guess CSE and it is good for any average student The major difference between both these field is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes, while, Computer Science deals with the Science that facilitates these applications.

Many students ask themselves this issue even when choosing the branches of their degree programme. Should you prioritise a particular branch or college? Thus, it is now. There are two perspectives on this issue. The first option is for broad population applicants without predetermined objectives. The only objective is to succeed (true for most of us). As a result, I will recommend what my coaching director did for people like us: if you don't have any predetermined goals in mind, give preference to a better college over a branch. I've also come to realise that a college's reputation counts a lot.

This is a question faced by many students even when selecting branches for a degree course. Should you give preference to college or branch.
    So here it is.
There are two ways to look at this problem.
First one is for general people who don't have any fixed goals in their mind while taking admission. The only goal is to become successful (true for most of us). So for people like us, I will suggest what my coaching's director suggested - as long as you don't have any specific goals in your mind give preference to a better college over a branch. I also have realised till now that brand name of college matters a lot. Whenever you are in the o

Good colleges not only have good buildings but established academic systems, qualified professors with vast experience which is of immense value to a student. Institutions name carries a lot of weight in the job market and the networking of the alumni also helps them initially as well as later in life, feels Hari Prasad Devarapalli from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

The dilemma of choosing an average specialization of good college or an average college with average specialization branch is the one faced by thousands of engineering aspirants appearing in competitive branches.
See, almost every college has a provision for students to get their branch changed after the first year of engineering depending upon their score and performances in the first semester. One irritating point is the inclusion of quota system in this provision also. This might give the category students with same or lower score an upper hand over the ones with no category with a comparatively good score. Still, what so ever if you

Its based upon your interest in field after your graduation the knowledge and project the top specialisation from an average college or B.Tech specialisation from top college both are good and the main matter is specialisation which is best doesn't matter with college at all.
