This is a really an interesting question. It is a dilemma faced by many students nowadays as they have a choice to make or shape their career before the times. So I will be giving some pointers about whether B.Tech specialisation from a top college or a top specialisation from an average college.
It depends on the specialisation you are choosing whether you like the specialisation or want to take specialisation of your choice.
The most important thing is top specialisation because it would have more scope than an average specialisation and you will be able to gain more average package amount.
Top college is also important than any average

    Hi,
It's an interesting question and to answer this B.Tech from a top colleges provide good campus in order to get job in a good company. If you would focus specialisation then average college is also okay but it must be a renowned one. Since, I have been industry for long and what I have learned is brand matters in first place but then specialisation plays a significant role for career development.
So, I will conclude now. If you will get chance to do your B.tech from a top college, then you should go by this.
