Dear Ashish Solanki,
The eligibility criteria for LPU placement depend on the companies which are interviewing the candidates. During your pre-final year, you will be asked to enroll for placements. i.e during 6th semester for 4 year course and 4th semester for 3 year course.
If we talk about the approximation CGPA which you have to maintain is 6 and there should be no backlogs if BIG IT companies visiting here in our campus.
To get placed in good product based company it is advisable that you must have CGPA above 7.5 per the requirement of the highest salary paying companies.
When it comes to Backlogs most companies not wish to take bac...more -
Hi,
CGPA does matter as it acts as a green signal to sit in the placement drives. Several companies set different criteria for eligibility. For instance, for most companies, it is 60%, for others, it is 70%. So, I would suggest you study to score good Cgpa and have the best placement offer.
Thanks. -
Definitely , CGPA does matter for the best placement as it plays a very important role and it is a matter of fact that companies prefer candidates with good CGPA. There is bi-directional causality between CGPA and placement means good CGPA holder will demand higher package and similarly, best company will ask for those candidates with good CGPA.
It is important to mention that CGPA requirements differ from company to company as profiles with higher packages will always demand higher CGPA. It is always advisable to the students to maintain a good CGPA so that acceptability to the companies is higher and you become much more placeable.

6 years agoAlthough, CGPA is not given that much importance, if you are good with your basics, and you are the technical written tests. But, there are few companies, which shortlist the top students only, in that case, you can face an issue, if you haven't scored a decent one. So, focus on your basics, and it is good, if you have some extra-curricular activities. -

Just try to maintain above 60 as most of the companies have minimum criteria as this.

Think placements as a castle and all the companies that come are rooms in it. The castle has a master key to enter the hall. And from the hall, you are required to get the keys for the room (for companies). Now first thing first if you have no backlogs and few repairs you will probably have the master key to push through the main gate into the castle. And next when companies come they put some conditions for the CGPA like they need people above 7 CGPA etc. Now after entering the hall there you eligibility keys would be given based on conditions set. Now anyone above the bar all has the same key it doesn't matter you are 9 pointers or 8...more

Hey, so for LPU's end-term exam in Physical Education, you need at least 30% marks in the end-term itself, plus an overall 40% combining continuous assessment and end-term. That's the standard across their PE programs, and they've got a cool holistic review if you hit the aggregate but miss the end-term bit—super fair way to keep things student-friendly. Attendance stays key at 75% min, which makes sense for staying active in sports stuff. LPU really nails this balance, helping folks like us push through without harsh cutoffs, way better for building real fitness skills. No wonder it's a top pick—keeps motivation high and stress lo

Hey guys, so I checked the official LPU site for the BPEd course fee, and for the first year, it's around INR1 Lacs to INR1.09 lakhs, covering tuition at INR50,000 per semester plus exam fees of about INR4,500-INR5,000 each. That's super reasonable for a top-notch programme with awesome sports facilities and scholarships up to 60% if you score well in LPUNEST—like INR96,000 off per semester for high performers. LPU really makes it accessible without compromising quality, way better value than many places I've seen. Total for two years is INR2-2.18 lakhs, but first-year payment is straightforward via UPI or whatever. If you're into ph
