    Hello!
Being an Alumni of LPU I can say that Lovely Professional University is very strict in terms of it's eligibility and entrance exams. Eligibility of B.Arch at LPU is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English and also 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and NATA 2020 or JEE Main (Paper II)(80 percentile or above) or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central/ State Governments (as/ if allowed by statutory body for 2020-21). If a student does not have 60% marks 12th, then he/she can not get admission in LPU for B.Arch. However, you

With 58% in 10+2, you may not currently meet the eligibility criteria for NATA or JEE Main Paper-2, which are essential for admission into Council of Architecture (CoA)-approved B.Arch programs, including those at Lovely Professional University (LPU). However, LPU provides alternative pathways for students passionate about architecture and design. Programs like B.Sc. and B.Des. in Interior and Furniture Design offer a strong foundation in spatial planning, aesthetics, and sustainable design. These degrees are industry-aligned and do not require NATA or JEE scores, making them accessible and highly practical options.

Unfortunately, with 58% in 10+2, you may not meet the eligibility criteria for NATA and JEE Paper-2, as both require at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and 50% overall in 12th (for CoA-approved B.Arch programs). However, there are still ways you can pursue architecture-related programs at LPU.

Alternative Pathways at LPU for Architecture Aspirants

    1. B.Sc or B.Des in Interior and Furniture Design

LPU offers B.Sc and B.Des programs that focus on architectural design, space planning, and furniture aesthetics. These programs do not require NATA or JEE Paper-2 and can lead to a career in architecture and

Yes, NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 is compulsory for Architecture, and is generally mandatory for admission to most recognised B.Arch) programs in India, as per Council of Architecture (CoA) regulations, to assess aptitude for the course. While NATA covers a broad range of colleges, prestigious institutions like some IITs and NITs might use JEE Main Paper 2.
