Sir, I have 58% marks in 10+2, will I not be eligible for NATA and JEE exam? I want admission in B.Arch.

    Hello Vinay,
    According to NATA regulations, you need at least 50% marks in maths, physics, and chemistry and aggregate of 50% in board exams. If you achieve this, you will be eligible to take NATA.

    You are eligible for JEE MAIN PAPER 2 for B.Arch, as it needs only 50% in class 12th.

    Eligibility for B.Arch is pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths) with English OR Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognized by Central/ State Govt. (with Mathematics) or equivalent,subject to qualifying marks as per NATA 2019 or JEE Main (Paper II) or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central/ State Governments (as/ if allowed by statutory body for 2019-20).

    Hello Vinay,
    For NATA 2019 eligibility, no candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/ he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

    For JEE Mains the minimum marks required is 75% and for the rest of private universities/colleges, it's 60% approximately. It may vary for some college.

The HNGU NATA Cutoff 2024 was released for admission to the BArch course for both the AI and HS quota. As per the HNGU Cutoff 2024 for the General AI category, the cutoff in the last round was 31049.

On the other hand for the General HS category, the last round cutoff was 11429 for the same course. Considering the cutoff of the last round for both quotas, we can say that the competition is higher for the General HS category.

No, you can't get admission in Dev Bhoomi School of Architecture, Planning and Design BArch course without NATA. The university accepts students for the other courses on a merit basis. But, if you want to enrol in the BArch course, NATA is mandatory.

Yes, NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 is compulsory for Architecture, and is generally mandatory for admission to most recognised B.Arch) programs in India, as per Council of Architecture (CoA) regulations, to assess aptitude for the course. While NATA covers a broad range of colleges, prestigious institutions like some IITs and NITs might use JEE Main Paper 2.

The MSU Baroda NATA Cutoff was released for admission to the BArch course. The NATA Cutoff 2024 was 31005 for the General category candidates under the All India quota. For the Gender candidates in the Home State quota, the BArch cutoff 2024 was 11076
