Chandigarh University has been awarded the prestigious A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Being established in 2012, the university has become the youngest University of the country to grab this credit in the first cycle itself. So for sure, it's the best in view of all the aspects.

LPU is much preferred to CU as, LPU is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Council of Architecture (COA) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Internationally, LPU is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business School and Programs (ACBSP) and a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).

There is no official ranking system from any government body in India which gives rankings based on a tier system in India. This may be done by different private agencies only which may have different criteria of assessment. Now, based on NIRF, CU has got top ranking in different parameters. I will give you various accreditation & Tie-up's which CU has:-
UGC, National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE), Council Of Architecture (COA), Pharmacy Council Of India (PCI), Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Bar Council Of India (BCI), The Institution Of Engineers (India), Institute Of Town Planners, India (ITPI).

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.

(Hons.) Hotel and Hospitality Management course. This number comes from the latest available round-wise data and gives a basic idea of the expected range.
