Hi Sukhwinder, I will advise you to Compare well the duo. I am not very much aware about Chitkara. But I can definitely tell you about LPU which has excelled in last 15-20 years with a super solid track record. While comparing refer these strengths of LPU with others. Curriculum: LPU curriculum is designed in exhaustive consultations with industry and is upgraded every semester depending on the feedback received from the employers of current students. Technologies: Large number of technologies are a part of curricula like SAP, Advance Excel, GitHub, Machine learning and many more MOOCs which are all at no additional charges. Infrastructure: Writing bout infrastructure of LPU is not even required, whole world is in awe including the IITs, Iims and NITs. Diversity: LPU attracts a diverse set of students and faculty from all across India as well as more than 70 countries. This gives a unique exposure to cross cultural ecosystem. Centre for Professional Enhancement: This center in itself is most unique feature of LPU, takes care of soft skills, professional ethics, sensibilities, mentorship. Etc. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Google, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Amazon, Adobe, etc. Come for recruitment purpose. Most of the students are placed in good companies with high package. Go with Lovely Professional University. I have done my engineering from LPU and was a part of campus placements. I was one those lucky students, who got multiple job offers. Currently I am working with HCL and it's been 4 years, I have received many promotions and increments and all I dedicate to LPU. CSE LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I know about Lovely Professional University because my brother has competed same course from LPU, currently he is working with Amazon. The faculty at the CSE department of LPU is just as qualified as any of the popular universities and institutes of India that offer this discipline names I don't even need to say! Dear Sukhwinder, I recommend LPU Jalandhar, it is in the heart of Punjab. Moreover, the CSE programme at LPU is in demand as it has a very good placement record. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors.
