What all parameters should I consider while making a college selection?

It's not a very tough task when you have ample offline and online resources such as Shiksha, but it can be a dillema for judging an institution whether to see it only in terms of academics or only co-curricular or what else. Here is an answer to your question. First of all, a college should have a clean background, whether it has indulged in any scam related activity or anything. Then the location of the college. It should be at a safe place from natural calamities or should not come where there are threats of human disasters. For that, the security system of a college is a concern. Then a college should have a nice infra and a basic institutional structure which can enable us to grow. Then comes the academic part that is it should have good labs faculty and equipment. A good pool of experienced faculty will also help us to move towards a bright future. A college should be an active participant in co-curricular for overall development and it should provide with basic facilities such as health, grocery, etc. Last is the placements which are the most important part of the education where there should be no compromise.
