    Hi,
Before selecting a college you need to go through this prerequisite:
Decide which branch you want to take admission to and then look out for the best college for that particular stream of engineering.
Then comes the college selection. I'm sharing 7 criteria's based on which I selected my college. Here we go.
    1. Top colleges: Check if you are eligible to apply for top 7 IITs or top 5 NITs.
(Now onwards, criterions will be applicable to all the other colleges also.)
    2. Accreditation: College should be at least NBA accredited. It should be Tier 1 college.
    3. Grant: Government colleges are definitely preferred but college should be nati

First of all, you have to select a specific branch because every college has their speciality in some branch such as IIT-Roorkee is famous for civil, IIT-Bombay for engineering physics (5-year integrated) and second on placements because these days, placement is like a second chance in your life.
Many things can be considered while making a college selection, but these two are the important ones.
