I agree with you channamma, but in CA you have to clear 14 papers, but here only 2 paper only, according to IMA the employeer who is appointing CMA employee should be designated minimum as a Asst. Manager and the salary should start 6 lakhs p.a for freshers in India and if you look for job in Abroad avg salary should be 2000 US$.

CMA [Certified Management Accountant] Course which is equal to ICWAI, already MoU had signed between CMA and ICWAI, CMA have only 2 papers to be cleared where CMA is valid throughout the world and future scope is going to be CMA too

The scope of a CA is very wide. He can either pursue private practice or join an organisation's financial accounting department or serve in taxation departments. He can also work in fields of Finance, Corporate finance, Management consultancy, Tax Compliance, Change management. Chartered accountants mostly deal with studies like market research, budget planning, planning of policies; management of working capital of an organisation, etc. Their duty is to ensure that the particular company is maintaining its financial transactions according to the law of the country and manage the cost and tax matters of it.

Both of these two courses offer well future prospects. They have similar demand in the market.
CS or company secretary course involves legal issues or law matters related with business organizations.
On the other hand, CA or cost accountancy course is purely related with accountancy in the commerce field.
So candidate can choose what they would like to prefer as their further study.

CA and CS both are equally good. CA professionals have to look after all the financial transactions of an organization. CS professionals are legal representatives of the company. There are large number of opportunities in private and public sector after completion of both the courses.
