Ca has a good income than CS but it requires hard work, so if you are good in accounts and ready for hard work go for CA , piles for company files would come to you but each file will give you a good return, you will have workload but also a very good income, you first has to work in CA firm and do CA's job wihout income. think about it

We can not say which one is best, both are having different goals, so ask yourself which is the Goal You want to achieve.

Difference of salary b/w CA & CS is not much. It depends on individual, company and their performance & ability, So u should select that course in which u r well versed as CA is financial related and CS is law related.

Both the Courses are valuable courses. But in India, there are lot of opportunity available for CA. As part of my saying, CA is good and valuable.

Since CA and CS are somewhat different and both also offer different career scope.Does the same hold true for ICWA and CPA?Are these two somewhat similar or drastically different? and what is the career scope after either of them?

CA and CS both are professional degree courses. The 'better' is the one in which one wants to build a career.Generally speaking, CA offers wider career options in Finance, Accounts,Taxation, Auditing including signing authority on balance sheets, Treasury management, Forex, Banks or Individual practice. Add CFA or MBA Finance to CA degree and you have another recipe for fat pay packets.
While CS is equally good if one wishes to stick around as ROC(Registrar of Company) in a company and wishes to take note of Board meetings, preparing balance sheet but not sign it,circulate company laws, files account report in ROC.

Well, i prefered CA as better then CS because CA has better oppurtunities in todays market. Various companies ,MNC's hired CA ob very great pakages.besides this CA can start its own practice also.

CA or CS it depends on the likes of an individual. How incline he is towards learning only laws or learning law with practical bits as well. And if we consider pay packages obviously CA's are better placed.
