What is better : CA or CS

Chartered Accountancy (CA) and Company Secretary (CS) are two most popular courses for Commerce students. Which one do you think offers better Job prospects to students?

Obviously C.A. as there can be more than one C.A. in a company but C.S. is only one.

Am here not to compare CA and CS because it is impossible. To pursue CA or CS will depends on individual interests , passion etc.
Both profesions have advantages and disadvantages as like any other professions.As per the new companies bill,2012 , CS got more power than earlier.CS are specialising in company law matters and affairs. but CA s are specializing in Accounts, auditing and taxation matteres. They both are well respected professions in corporate world.
Both professions have great opportunities . Because of high shortage for CS in india. they are well paid proffession too.the disadvantage of CS is that the they have few oppor

Both Courses are good
CS focuses more on Legal side and CA focuses more on Accounting & Taxation
However, CS is not a stand-alone course and is usually pursued along with LLB
whereas CA is a Stand-alone course

i am planning to do cs with commerce as a subject some say i should do b.com then do LLB 3/5 year because cs is mainly related to law so please help me about it because to do all these at same time take is very difficult and do them separately take long time

It purely depends upon the individual's interest.,as CA is a course which gets into the depth of taxation,audit and finance.,whereas CS deals wholly with the company law.So before making a decision one must analyse where ones interest lies.However both are dynamic professions.

if i have to opt one of them i will go for ca.there is no doubt that ca's are given more importance and prfrence.but sochne wali baat yeh bhi hai k for girls whthr ca is good prospct? q k a wll going company alwz think twice beforel giving full responsiblity of their data to a girl.they alwz go for gents.and at the end teaching option is left for ca girls.

hmm nice topic.ca and cs both are good options.nw there is one more advantage available i wud like to share with u all.nw bcom graduate can go for direct ipcc and they dont have to appear for cpt.provided 55% aggregate is required.
