Except for LPUNEST, you need to write JEE-Mains for engineering stream. For B.Com, your boards' marks will work. Also, for any other non - technical course, your boards' marks will work, or the marks of any competitive exam particular to that stream in which one wants to take admission.Though, I would suggest you to give LPU-NEST as it will help you to get a better scholarship also.

All you have to do is check the eligibility criteria of the desired program, admission can be made subject to the fulfillment of the relevant programme eligibility conditions. You can then complete your registration through online mode by entering basic details and your application ID will be generated. This ID will act as a gateway to other admissions related processes such as payment of provisional fees, submission of documents, etc.

While the LPUNEST is the most common method to get to LPU, entrance can also be gotten based on scores in a qualifying examination. Only a few programs require students to take entrance tests and only those who sat for the test can apply through LPU's online portal provided the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission into their programme of choice, generally, a pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination. LPU also considers the scores of national level entrance exams such as JEE (Main), NATA, CAT or any other as applicable to the program. This is due to the university's scholarships given out depending on such scores to ma

Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers admission through multiple routes apart from the LPU-NEST. Here's how you can proceed:

    Admission Process Without LPU-NEST

Based on National or State-Level Entrance Exam Scores

LPU accepts valid scores from recognised national or state-level exams in place of LPU-NEST for many programs. For example:

    • MBA: CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, or GMAT scores.
    • B.Tech: JEE Main scores.
    • Law: CLAT or LSAT India scores.
    • Architecture: NATA or JEE Main (Paper 2) scores.

If you meet the required cut-off for these exams, you can directly apply for admission.

In such cases, if you meet the university's required cutoff for th

    hello reader

Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers multiple pathways for admission, depending on the specific programme and your qualifications. While the LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) is a common route, especially for programs like B.Tech, B.Arch, and MBA, it is not mandatory for all courses.

    Programs Where LPUNEST Is Mandatory:

    • B.Tech, B.Arch, MBA: For these programs, LPUNEST serves as both an entrance exam and a scholarship test. However, if you have qualified scores from recognised national-level entrance exams (e.g., JEE Main for B.Tech, NATA for B.Arch, CAT/MAT for MBA), you may be exempt from LPUNEST. I

In order to take admission in any course of LPU you have to qualify your LPU NEST Entrance Test. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the pr

As per the current scenario of Lockdown and covid 19, you can take admission to LPU by going to their website even though I took admission with the online mode in 2019 even at that time I had more options like out campus admission offices and in-campus admission.
