    hello reader

Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers multiple pathways for admission, depending on the specific programme and your qualifications. While the LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) is a common route, especially for programs like B.Tech, B.Arch, and MBA, it is not mandatory for all courses.

    Programs Where LPUNEST Is Mandatory:

    • B.Tech, B.Arch, MBA: For these programs, LPUNEST serves as both an entrance exam and a scholarship test. However, if you have qualified scores from recognised national-level entrance exams (e.g., JEE Main for B.Tech, NATA for B.Arch, CAT/MAT for MBA), you may be exempt from LPUNEST. I

Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers admission through multiple routes apart from the LPU-NEST. Here's how you can proceed:

    Admission Process Without LPU-NEST

Based on National or State-Level Entrance Exam Scores

LPU accepts valid scores from recognised national or state-level exams in place of LPU-NEST for many programs. For example:

    • MBA: CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, or GMAT scores.
    • B.Tech: JEE Main scores.
    • Law: CLAT or LSAT India scores.
    • Architecture: NATA or JEE Main (Paper 2) scores.

If you meet the required cut-off for these exams, you can directly apply for admission.

In such cases, if you meet the university's required cutoff for th

While the LPUNEST is the most prevalent method to gain admission to LPU, entry can also be obtained based on scores in a qualifying examination. Only a limited number of programs ask students to undertake entrance tests, and solely those who have taken the test may apply via LPU's online portal, provided that the candidates meet the eligibility criteria for admission into their programme of choice, typically requiring a pass in 10+2 or an equivalent examination. LPU also takes into account the scores of national level entrance exams like JEE (Main), NATA, CAT, or any other as relevant to the program. This is because the university prov

    Hi there,

If you want to take admission in Lovely Professional University (LPU) without appearing for LPU-NEST, there are alternative ways based on your academic performance and national-level entrance exams.

For most programs, including B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MBA, B.Sc, and others, LPU offers direct admission based on class 12th marks or other national-level entrance exams. If you have a high percentage in 12th (above 70-80%), you may be eligible for admission without appearing for LPU-NEST. Additionally, LPU considers scores from JEE (for B.Tech), NATA (for Architecture), CUET, CAT, MAT, XAT (for MBA), and NEET (for medical-related courses

Another aspect that enables higher education to be affordable to a large number of students is that Lovely Professional University (LPU) has a flexible and student-based admission procedure without having to appear at LPUNEST. LPU has been offering direct admission to most of its undergraduate and postgraduate programs on the basis of academic merit based on the marks secured in either Class 12, on graduation or on equivalent qualifying exams. Students with national level entrances like the JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT, CLAT or GATE may also gain admission based on the scores, with or without scholarship facilities.

The other accepted entrance examinations at LPU are MAT,  XAT, CAT, and others. These entrance examinations are not valid for many courses like BTech. If students want to get admission in the BTech course, the only option for them is LPU-NEST. Prior preperation for this exam is very important.

As per the current scenario of Lockdown and covid 19, you can take admission to LPU by going to their website even though I took admission with the online mode in 2019 even at that time I had more options like out campus admission offices and in-campus admission. Go to the LPU website, Choose your course but yes check the eligibility carefully then follow the steps which will given on the interface
    Best of Luck !
