What is the admission process in LPU except giving LPU-NEST?

Dear Aparna, The process of the admission process for any programme at LPU is the same. The LPU NEST exam is only considered for eligibility and scholarship. In a few programmes. You may directly get admission without the LPU NEST Exam. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, zoology, etc. Students can gain a Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. In order to take admission in any course of LPU you have to qualify your LPU NEST Entrance Test. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. Scholarship for a specific Programme depends on Performance in LPU NEST. Hi there, LPU offers over 250 programs in various disciplines. LPU NEST is not mandatory for all the programs. The programs a such as B.A. , BBA, B.Com, and B.Sc. LPU NEST is not mandatory. Hope this helps.

Hi there, as far as the Lovely Professional University is concerned, you can take direct admission, however, there are certain programs such as B Tech, MBA and Hons programs in which you can get admission only if you qualify the entrance exam. Apart from that the programs such as BBA BCOMM, B.Sc. And B.A. Programs do not have mandatory entrance test as an eligibility, you can seek admission in these programs. However, you need to fulfil other eligibility conditions.

<p>While the LPUNEST is the most common method to get to LPU, entrance can also be gotten based on scores in a qualifying examination. Only a few programs require students to take entrance tests and only those who sat for the test can apply through LPU's online portal provided the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission into their programme of choice, generally, a pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination. LPU also considers the scores of national level entrance exams such as JEE (Main), NATA, CAT or any other as applicable to the program. This is due to the university's scholarships given out depending on such scores to make sure everyone gets a quality education as per their wish.
