The B.Sc. Agriculture course provided by the LPU is approved by ICAR I. e Indian Council of Agriculture and Research an autonomous body responsible for co-ordinating agricultural education and research in India. It reports to the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture. And Punjab State Council for Agricultural Education (PSCAE). A four year Agriculture degree programme which produces graduates with broad understating of Agriculture and allied Science with broad understanding of agriculture related problems and got expertise through well planned on-field implementation, basic concepts in disease, insect pest, weeds and nutrient disorders to enhance the production. Placements: In Agriculture at the graduation level 90% of the student are placed with the highest package of 23 LPA and average package of 3.3 LPA. The graduates desirous of specializing may opt for a Masters programme. The Undergraduate Degree in B.Sc. Agriculture consists of few core subjects such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Genetics, Plant Pathology, Land Surveying, Entomology Horticulture, Physiology, Food Science, water resource management, and Animal Products management. A number of subjects such as Economics, Meteorology, Technology, Business, and Production Management are studied in close reference to the subject. Fees: the fees for B.Sc. Programme is 120000 per semester but there is scholarship on the basis of entrance test that is LPU NEST national level exams. , financial aid like need basis, defence basis and many more.
