What is the average package offered after B.Sc agriculture in LPU?

<p>More than 100 companies participate in on-campus recruitment. The average salary for the top 10% of earners is approximately 8 lakhs, to the best of my knowledge. Over 500 students have secured their desired job offers. The highest salary package offered to date is around 20 lakhs.</p>

Let me update you LPU has distinctive placement record and 23 LPA is the highest package offered to student from agriculture background and 3.3 is the average salary package.

LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the Agriculture students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 5.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided.

A number of subjects such as Economics, Meteorology, Technology, Business, and Production Management are studied in close reference to the subject.</span></p><p><span lang="EN-IN">The fees for B.Sc programme is 120000 per semester but there is scholarship on the basis of entrance test that is Lpunest, national level exams., financial aid like need basis, defence basis and many more. If you still think that fees is little to high then there is a facility of student loan facility and you can do part time job side by side to recover the amount and to helping your parents.</span></p>

I did MBA from LPU, during my post graduation years I had few friends from agriculture department,Sometimes I used to visit fields,Labs with them they also discussed about placements ,academic, placements etc so I have Idea about this course. Few Points I am sharing which will help you to know more about B.Sc(Hons)Agriculture course:- Students learn about the latest advancements in the field of agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and, insecticides with extensive fieldwork and field trips preparing them for the evergreen field of agriculture. LPU lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Emphasis on case studies and inter-personal based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture students done research on Project On Floating Island-The project involves the introduction of floating islands for water management and improving sanitation and regulation of water quality & restoration of the water table with the help of biological agents. Students hitherto organic yields of Spinach, Cauliflowers, Cabbage, Turnip, Radish, Carrots have been well accepted by local consumers at University, who have liked these for quality, taste, appearance and appeal. Hi, There are many universities which would offer scholarship. But you need a college which would cater to your all round development. The name that comes to me first is LPU which carefully nurtures its students and propels them to the pinnacle of success so that their hard work culminates to a point which would be the cause of envy of many. LPU has external research funding worth 1.8 Million INR of the foreign university. Many students are aspiring higher studies in International Universities such as, Technical University of Munich, Germany, Leibniz Universitat Hannover, WAGENINGEN UNIVERSITY Netherland etc. Due to ICAR accreditation of LPU, large number of companies are visiting the campus. The students are taught with hands-on experience with the most advanced technology. Placements in LPU are very promising for the B.Sc. Agriculture students. Based on the Lol, IEA, Compliance Certificate and Self Study Report submitted by the University and subsequent report of Peer Review Team, the National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board of ICAR in its XXII meeting, held on 28th September 2018, granted accreditation to the School of Agriculture, Lovely Professional University. For campus placements several Brands of the industry visited LPU campus every year, students get trained for that and the process is still going on. Around 180+ reputed companies visit every year for campus-placement from LPU. In agriculture programs candidates got very good packages. The highest package offered is approximately 8 LPA and minimum package is 3.5 LPA as far as I know. Thank You.
