    Hello Pragya
Actually, BJMC is considered to be the modern and professional degree in journalism and mass communication. BA has a little less weightage of subjects while BJMC covers all the aspects of journalism and mass communication. It includes subjects from literature, public relations, advertisement to criminal procedure, politics, constitution and international relations. There is little difference in subjects and syllabus. However, both are considered to be same. Some colleges offers BA while some offer BJMC. However, students don't encounter with any sort of employment problem. As this field requires a lot of talent.
    Thank you,

Earlier, mass communication and journalism were separate, now they come under the same roof.
Now, journalism is being considered as one of the fields in mass communication. Some colleges provide it as BMC and some as BJMC, there's no difference.
In both the cases, BMC and BJMC, you have to study journalism. In journalism, there is reporting, editing and print media only. But mass communication has everything in it like advertising, public relation, journalism, broadcasting, photojournalism, etc.

Well first of all our college does not offer course on B.A(Hons.) in mass communication, but to answer you question the difference between BJMC and B. A.(Hons) is that in mass communication BJMC is more centered towards news industry the prime focus is on journalism while B.A (Hons) in mass communication covers all the dimensions of mass communication and the focus is not journalism centric unlike BJMC.
