Hospitality Management is all about providing the best suited experience to the customer. It is a service industry and requires the ability to "sell" the lifestyle of resort and hotel chains. It is essential that you can represent the type of experience that tourists can enjoy at a particular hotel or resort. You will need to be constantly developing attractions that can make a hotel competitive with others in the city. However, Event Management is the application of project management to the creation and development of large scale events such as festivals, conferences, ceremonies, formal parties, concerts, or conventions. It involves studying the brand, identifying the target audience, devising the event concept, planning the logistics and coordinating the technical aspects before actually launching the event.
