What is the difference between these two programs - Bachelor in Mass Media and Bachelor in Mass Communication?

    Hi Joy,
    Both Mass media and Mass Communication are different in its function but both are inter-dependent. In Layman's term, Mass communication is the information for the public / huge masses and Mass media is the channel through which this piece of information is spread across.

    Well, both are quite similar and many subjects in all the semester are similar to each other. Only difference I found is in B. M. you get option to choose from advertising or journalism in last 2 semister will be depend on what you choose, if you choose journalism you will get subject accordingly and if you choose advertising then, it is specialisation in B. M. where in B.M.C. its not there. If you wanna become journalist you can choose B. M. but doing B.M.C. also you can be journalist.

    The only difference is the syllabus. The courses typically for mass communication focus on mass communication, media research, development communication etc. Including journalism. But, B.J. MC syllabus covers all type of media including new media.
