The duration of BCA+MCA is 5 years. Separately, BCA is of 3 years and MCA is of 2 years. For more information visit your nearby institute/university.

As per AICTE gazette BCA/B.Sc.it holder eligible for direct entry into 2nd year of MCA.
therefore BCA+MCA take 5yrs.

BCA is of 3-years after BCA, you can take admission in MCA 1st-year or 2nd-year. It's your choice because students can take admission in the 2nd year or 1st year depending on your choice.
If you take admission in the 1st year BCA + MCA is 6-years and if in 2nd-year or lateral entry then it is of 2-years.

Mostly it is for 5 years but if you go with some other stream then it will be of 6 years.

It's better to do BCA for 3 years and get some work experience and then try for top IITs in India, this way, you will have a good scope in future.
Good luck and don't go for lateral entry if you have time to pursue it in the regular mode.
