What is the duration of BCA+MCA: 5 years or 6 years?

Hi Shubham, if you are pursuing MCA after BCA MCA will be for 2 years. But if you are from an arts background and going for MCA it will of 3 years.

If you go for Dual Degree BCA MCA then it will take 5 Years and if you pursue Integrated programme it will be just 4 Years. I am associated with LPU since long, so I am well aware about the benefits of Dual Programs & Integrated programs in LPU. (A)Benefits of pursuing Dual Programs in LPU are like, 1)There is option of Exit after completion of first programme. 2)Student will get two degree & two CGPA 3)There will be course Fee benefits for the students. Course Fees are too some extent you can say locked as per the course fee as mentioned at the time of taking admission. There is literally sudden surge in Fees which is relevantly awkward. For 2nd programme, Course Fees will be either any one of the following whichever will be the most beneficial for the student. A)Course Fee without scholarship of the year of taken admission. B)Course Fee with Scholarship of that year I. e commencement of 2nd programme. Scholarship depends upon performance in 1st programme as applicable. The duration of BCA+MCA integrated degree is 5 years I. e 10 semester. Choosing a right college or university is the most important task for each one of us. My brother has done BCA from LPU, he is currently pursuing MCA from LPU. He always keeps on appraising LPU. Based on his experience I can say Lovely Professional University is the best option. BCA and MCA both are different courses. While BCA is graduation course same time MCA is post graduation course. I personally don't know if any where both are provided in same tenure however the better idea is to do BCA and MCA separately. While BCA is a 3 years course MCA previously used to be a 2 years course but from calender year 2021 it will be now a 2 years course. After doing BCA you have good chances of doing MCA with better skill set and experience also you might do job so after BCA you can take decision based on those circumstances so try to do BCA first and then decide later. Separately, both the courses are of 3 years each. An integrated course of BCA+MCA is of 5 years. Even though a BCA graduate student wants to do MCA then some colleges/University give 1 year relaxation to them by offering admission in directly 2nd year MCA.
