    Dear student,
There is no age limit for taking admission in B.Tech mechanical through lateral entry for a diploma holder, but there are some documents which are required to be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission. A candidate must have to submit a gap affidavit (if applicable) duly attested by notary with character certificate from last organization. I hope this information will be helpful for you.

Addressing your query, I wish to inform that there is no age condition for B.Tech at LPU but you need to be eligible. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering- Lateral Entry at LPU is: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 yrs. after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent.

Though there is no age limit for admission in Lovely Professional University for B.Tech as well as Diploma as the the university pre assumes that the students are directly taking admission for the undergraduate degree after completing their 10+2. Though there may be some cases where there is gap between t between the same. If the time gap is more than 2 years, the university needs a very genuine reason in that case you become eligible.

    Hi,
There is no age limit for taking admission in B.Tech but you need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
However, you need to provide a gap certificate and the reason must be genuine for the gap. Due to the current situation i.e. COVID-19, the eligibility criteria is relaxed and the admissions are being done online. For more information, you can visit the website or call on their toll-free number.

LPU does provide scholarships, and to be honest, that's one of the positive aspects of the university. Many students end up receiving some kind of fee assistance because they have a variety of scholarship alternatives depending on LPUNEST performance, academic background, sports, cultural accomplishments, and even unique categories. Many of my classmates received scholarships at the time of entry, and some went on to receive performance-based incentives in the future. In general, LPU seeks to increase access to high-quality education by rewarding students who demonstrate academic or other aptitude.
