What is the procedure of admission in LPU?

Hi I would choose LPU which tends to change instruction through scholastic meticulousness; pragmatic direction and result based education. Select your course as per your eligibility that is the pass percentage required for that particular course. If you want to avail a scholarship, check the site to how to apply for the scholarship, as it has to be applied right at the time of admission. If you belong to a category having some sort of concession, mention that. If you have a national level award or national level test has been cleared, mention it. The most important thing is to note the dates of admission as if the dates are over you would not get admission in your desired college. So you need to click open the website of LPU and select he course and it will route you to the procedure of admission. You need to start the admission procedure soon as the seats are filling fast due to online admissions.

It basically depends on the programme in which you are interested and want to apply for. Due to the national Lockdown, the admissions for 2021 sessions are being done online. There is direct admission to some courses and in some its mandatory to qualify the LPUNEST exam and in some, LPUNEST exam + Interview. There are courses 200+ programme like Engg, Honours programme whose eligibility in the qualifying exam is 60%, some, it is 55% and for others, it is 50%. Even if you are getting direct admission in the branch you desire to opt, you can give the LPUNEST exam for scholarship. There are different scholarship slabs available depending on your performance in the exam. As you are also aware of pandemic stage impact admissions are opened for every at LPU through online mode only for a while. LPU accept programme fees semester wise .At the time of admission you 'll have to pay tuition fee for first semester, examination fee for first semester, prospectus fee, but for hostel fee you have to pay annual Fee ( for 2 semesters). However, for provisional admission, you need to pay 10000 initially and later deposit the amount of the fee within 10-15 days of taking provisional admission. *This is further to inform you that Admission for the session 2020-21 is already begun through online mode and in order to avail maximum scholarship benefit you need to take admission before 30th of April and then apply for LPUNEST.

The procedure is as follows: Apply online for admission in your desired stream and relevant course. Prepare and appear for LPU-NEST conducted for entrance and scholarship purpose. After, clearing your NEST, you will be called at campus for formal documentation that will be one week prior to your classes. Note: After your online application, you will also be contacted by LPU authorities for verification.
