LPU provides a proper atmosphere or environment for agriculture students. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. Students here are given the opportunity to work on the live projects. University provides additional professional enhancement classes as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. LPU excels in terms of placement as well. Students of agriculture are availing a good amount of packages from the recruiters. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Because of which lpunest is not compulsory for all the programmes. As for this programme LPUNEST works for scholarship purpose only. Here i am sharing the eligibility criteria of B.sc Hons Agriculture programme i.e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 yrs. Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. If you qualify the above criteria than you may proceed for admissions even through online mode. Due to the rise in the daily cases of Covid-19 in different parts of the country, many state governments have put various restrictions to curb the spread of the virus. Considering the scenario of restricted movement and keeping the focus on the safety of the candidates, LPU extends the option of Online Remotely Proctored LPUNEST exam from home. The remotely proctored exam will be monitored live through various Artificial Intelligence tools and by the invigilators. LPU NEST 2021 registration window for June session is open from June 08. Aspirants seeking admission can apply until June 20. Aspirants can book a slot from June 08 onwards so that they can appear in LPUNEST 2021 schedule IV. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from June 10 onwards. The result will be announced after conclusion of the exam and shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling.
