What is the qualification of the LPU faculty?

Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India and is one of the top-rated universities of Punjab. LPU is a private university in Phagwara, Punjab that is affiliated with NCTE, COA, PCI, IAP, BCI, UGC. The university is an educational home to more than 30,000 students, 4000 faculty members, and offers more than 200 programs. Well there are three things that comes to my mind when it comes to LPU faculty: 1. Experienced 2. Well learnt 3. Ever ready to help Highly experienced faculty mostly with industry exposure engaged in research & development to add immense value to academic life. They are Ph.D. from reputed universities, most of them are IIM & IIT pass outs, with international accolades. LPU comprises more than 20 schools that provide 200 plus programs in engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, social Science, hotel management having an extra edge in curriculum and facilities with the best staff and faculty.

Hello, LPU, with the vision to be among the top universities in the world, has faculty with sound educational background, teaching experience, research orientation, and industry exposure. With approximately 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M. Phils, and 724 Ph.D. faculty members, including faculty members from IITs, Iims, IIITs, etc. , LPU has one of the best intellectual capital. 70+ faculty/staff members from foreign countries including the USA, Germany, France, Russia, Romania, Poland, China, etc. Bring diversity into teaching. To enhance the quality of education, faculty members are provided with facilities like academic extension leaves for perusing doctoral/research studies, attending development/training programs outside the university, and on-campus training programs are arranged with academic and industry experts from within and outside the university on a periodical basis. Hello I have spent 4 years for my graduation and as per my experience LPU faculty is really well experienced, supportive, and last but not least they understand the students. During my graduation, I never faced any disappointments from the faculty side. They have great knowledge and their way of teaching is really interesting. The best part is that they always helped beyond their job timings I learned from most of the Ph.D. faculty members and they all have more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. 1. Great infrastructure and it matters. 2. Wider exposure to the latest technologies as LPU is one of the pioneers in bringing the latest technology in educational field. 3. International tie-ups. If you ever make your mind to study abroad, LPU can help you realize this as it has 30+ tie ups with International universities. You study 2 years at LPU and rest at other university and get full degree from that international university. 4. More number of companies visit LPU for placements. 5. N number of different clubs run at LPU which actually works. 6. Many industries, corporate like Cognizant, Oracle, etc. Provide training at LPU.7. Google in house excellent center. 8. Membership of internationally recognised agencies, student/research clubs, etc. 9. Almost all kind of games are played and sports events are organized at LPU throughout the year. 10. Cultural/Dance/Debate/Science, etc. Competitions/events are being organized throughout the year. Excellent platform to showcase your talent. 11. World leaders, international celebrities, sports personalities, motivational speakers etc. Keep gracing LPU campus. 12. 0 tolerance to ragging, alcohol and drugs.13. Good placement rate and excellent placement opportunities. On an average, you can SEE at least 1 and even 2 or 3 companies visiting LPU. (Not for all branches, but in general 300+ different companies visit LPU for placements) 14. As an alumni of LPU, I think I can answer this question well. The teaching role of faculty members reflects their centrality in addressing the primary educational mission among colleges and universities. As faculty members teach, they disseminate and impart basic or applied knowledge to students and assist students with the learning process and applying the knowledge. Highlights about the faculty - - - - - LPU has around 2000 faculty members in the university. - LPU has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. - Around 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M. Phils and 724 Ph.D. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries including USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. - The faculty members have been going to foreign university for Teaching and research projects. - LPU believes in continuous and over all development of our faculty. So they conduct faculty development programmes on regular basis. The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level - They recruit faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as they are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 73 faculty members from IIT, Iims, IIITs etc. - The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level So, LPU not only focuses on the overall development of the students only but it also focuses on the overall development of faculty members as well so they can well guide the students further. The faculty of the department is a team of trained professionals who have studied at top universities of the country and have worked with industrial giants also are equipped with academic excellence. Most of them have studied at reputed universities and institutions. They deserve to be the faculty hence they are at the dais. The academic and professional details about faculty are mentioned on the website. The teachers also act as mentors to the students. The students can call them and talk to them to get an answer to any academic or personal problem they feel stuck at. The faculty are engaged in higher learning and research work simultaneously. Such is the ambience of LPU. One unique thing about faculty is that at LPU if the students do not give good feedback of a particular teacher or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to the head of the dept who reports the same to the head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced. However, one come acrosses such incidents not very often.

The faculty members of LPU are the best in the field. They are highly qualified and most of the faculty members are of the doctorate level. Some of the faculty members recruited by the university are experienced or alumni of NITs or IITs, Iims. The faculty members of LPU leave no stones unturned when it comes to students. They go beyond their call of duty, and work even after the regular university hours of 9 to 5. The faculty members give their best make you understand the things in an easy approach. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development Programs so that they can update the faculty members with the industry and the latest needs.

Lovely Professional University has around more than 2000 faculty members in the university. The university has experienced, specialised and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Iims etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. Professors of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning.

I am an alumnus of LPU and I believe that the faculty members are great. LPU has highly qualified faculty members, many are from IITs, Iims, Foreign Universities and NIIT's as well. They are not just faculty members but are mentors to students. Faculty members at LPU are not just well qualified but are experienced as well. Faculty members work so hard on students to get them placed in the best of the companies. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. LPU has over 2300 highly qualified faculty, and most of them are either Ph.D. or pursuing Ph.D. The faculty members give their best make you understand the things in an easy approach. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development Programs so that they can update the faculty members with the industry and the latest needs. As far as the curriculum is concerned, the syllabus gets updated by industry experts so that the demands of the industry are MET once students pass out form the university. This is very much helpful for students. The research oriented faculty members are very much dedicated in carrying out research work. They have many patents under hood. The faculty members are awarded with projects worth crores by central government. And foreign universities. And every year they get hundreds of research papers published which itself is an achievement.
