What is the qualification of the LPU faculty?

Well, being a faculty member in Lovely Professional University, I should not give my judgement on the capability index of faculty members associated with LPU. Hi, Being an alumnus of LPU. I am recently passed out from there. LPU does provide quality education if we talk about the qualification. They have experienced and qualified teachers. As per UGC guidelines, LPU is now hiring only doctoral degree holders for teaching staff. LPU has 70+ IIT, IIIT, IIM, and teachers from throughout the world's top universities. So they have quality teacher's we can say that LPU is reliable in terms of providing quality education.

Being a alumni of this University, I would like to answer your query, First of all my experience at LPU was amazing I did MBA from LPU, LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. As per my knowledge, Lovely Professional University has around more than 2000 faculty members in the university. The university has experienced, specialised and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Iims etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. Professors of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level. Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or an alumni of NIT's or IIT's, Iims Teaching mode is English, thus students who come from across India will be comfortable. The management is student friendly and helps out every one in need. Thee best part at LPU is that the feedback of students are frequently taken and considered I. e if they are facing any problem with any professor or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to head of dept who reports the same to head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced. Faculty members are highly qualified here at LPU, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. while others are still pursuing. They have at least a minimum of 5 years of experience and an ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical. The faculty members recruited by the university are only either experienced or alumni of NITs or IITs, Iims. Also, they are very helping and cooperative at the same time. They are always ready to help you out with any of your career-related problems.

All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi video Notification F. No.37-3/Legal/2010 issued pay scales, Service conditions & qualifications for teachers and other academic staff in Technical institutions (Degree) Regulations, 2010. The regulations 2010 shall apply to technical institutions & Universities including Deemed Universities imparting Technical Education and such other course/ programmes and areas as notified by Council from time to time. There shall be only three designations in respect of teachers in Universities and colleges, namely, Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors. No one shall be eligible to be pointed, promoted or designated as Professor, unless he or she possesses a Ph.D. and satisfies other academic conditions, as laid down by the AICTE from time to time. This shall, however, not affect those who are already designated as Professor. LPU Faculty hired is at par as per the requirements of UGC. Well there are three things that comes to my mind when it comes to LPU faculty: 1. Experienced 2. Well learnt 3. Ever ready to help Highly experienced faculty mostly with industry exposure engaged in research & development to add immense value to academic life. They are Ph.D. from reputed universities, most of them are IIM & IIT pass outs, with international accolades. LPU comprises more than 20 schools that provide 200 plus programs in engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, social Science, hotel management having an extra edge in curriculum and facilities with the best staff and faculty.

Lovely Professional University is among the best private universities of the country. This university is doing exceptionally well in all spheres. It is having tie-ups with more than 50+countries that provide their students an global exposure. Moreover they encourage entrepreneurial skills and start-ups. The faculty of this university is excellent. Most of the professors are from top management and technical institutions like IISC, IITS. Majority of them holds the Ph.D. degree and are working in one project or another.

LPU faculty members are well trained and they are experts. They are just not faculty members but mentors to students.
