It is considered the second-the oldest engineering discipline after military engineering, and it is defined to distinguish non-military engineering from military engineering.     As a Civil Engineer, you can take up career options in diverse fields such as Building control surveyor, CAD technician, Consulting civil engineer, Contracting civil engineer, Design Engineer, Nuclear Engineer, Site Engineer, Structural engineer, Water engineer, Rural and Urban Transport engineer.     I'm alumni of lpu and from my experience, I can say lpu is the best, it has the best infrastructure and professional faculty is there who are always there for students. This university is best for the student who really wants to learn and grow in their respected fields. Every B.Tech stream has a good scope.
