It is considered the second-the oldest engineering discipline after military engineering, and it is defined to distinguish non-military engineering from military engineering.     B.Tech in civil engineering is one of the best programme offered by LPU. As a civil engineer you can be a Consulting civil engineer, Contracting civil engineer, Design engineer, Site engineer, Structural engineer, Water engineer, Rural and Urban Transport engineer.

    One of India's Best Civil Engineering college in Punjab. Placements: One of my juniors is Placed In Trident With Packages Of INR 15 LPA. Other few companies for placements are OYO and Earth to Sky Infrastructure, Dharam Consulting, ALFARAA Group UAE, NHPC Ltd.
