As the French language is the official language of the Olympic Committee, NATO and also for United Nations, it is one of the most spoken languages in the world. And, is also most researched in the world. As it is relatively easy to learn than other most spoken languages, you can work in sales, the foreign relation in multinational companies. Also, you can be a teacher of French or a Translator. So, French do have scope in all the sectors.

It depends, in which country you want to work. You should be fluent in English, and then focus on any other language. If you are wishing to work in Germany or Japan, you should know their language, otherwise English will work.
