Delhi University undergraduates in economics normally begin at INR 6–10 LPA,  averaging INR 7 LPA based on college and performance.

Degree holders from prestigious colleges like SRCC or St Stephen's usually receive better offers.

Top placements at the Delhi School of Economics went as high as INR 25 LPA, with average packages much higher.

The starting salary of an Economics graduate from Delhi University depends on the college and course the student has opted for at the UG and PG levels. There is no doubt that many colleges in DU have provided an average package of 15 Lacs p.a to their students. But not everybody is so lucky. So do your best.
