What is the syllabus & exam pattern of the DU LLB? What should my preparation strategy be?

    The total number of questions are 175. The total time given to attempt the questions are 2 hours. Usually, the paper is divided into two sections: General Knowledge and Legal Awareness. The pattern of the exam is usually uploaded on the website a couple of months before the exam. But generally, around 20-25 questions are asked in English, 5 from current affairs, 30-35 from General knowledge, 10-15 from maths, 20 from logical reasoning and around 85-90 from Legal awareness.     Now that DU LL.B. Admissions are to be conducted through CUET-PG exam, the exam pattern of LL.B. Question paper will be as under:
    Mode of exam - Online/Computer-Based Test duration - 120 minutes
    Subjects - Hindi/English Language Comprehension, Verbal Ability, General Knowledge/ Awareness, Computer Basics and Logical Reasoning (Bilingual English/Hindi)
    Type of questions - Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

    The marking scheme of CUET LL.B. Will be as under:

    Syllabus and exam pattern - DU LLB is a 3-year post graduation course. Syllabus is not very clear cut but one should focus on:
    1. General Legal Knowledge (both static and current)
    2. Basic provisions of the Constitution
    3. Basic legal knowledge
    4. News and current affairs
    A section is also dedicated to Basic English, so brushing that up is a good idea.
    Preparation Strategy - one does not need to join any coaching classes to clear the entrance exam. Studying for the Universal Guide to LLB is sufficient, but one should be thorough with it from cover to cover. The Guide also has previous year's papers, which is a must before sitting for the ex
