    Traditionally in India anyone who used to do B.Pharma or D.Pharma would end up as a Medical representative or a Medicine retailer (Chemist as they still call in India). These two used to be the only careers. But in last 25 years, the economy was opened for international players. As a result it formed a huge private sector and globalized supply chains, the careers in Pharma have increased by leaps and bounds, now there are options like Medical Transcriptionists, Quality Assurance Managers, Analytical Chemists, Sales and Marketing Managers, Data Managers, Drug Regulatory Managers, Scientists, Healthcare Professionals, pharma-co vigilance

    There are lot many universities who offer B. Pharmacy but I will recommend you to purse your studies from LPU as I came across one of the Alumni of this course who told that NIRF ranked LPU Pharmacy School under best 30 pharmacy colleges in the country due to best placements, infrastructure, research oriented faculty and yes industry oriented curriculum. Pharmacy programmes are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)
