Both are good, it always depends on your decision whether to choose mechanical or computer engineering. If you want to earn early and need to make more money then computer engineering will be an easy path. But if you have interest in practical applications of physics and models and if you think you like innovation related to mechanical then choose it.

This question can be answered from several perspective. Both are good branches and offer a lot of opportunities after completing your education. My answer would be in a general sense. CS fetches you more starting salary packages. Avenues to go abroad are plenty. Mostly, you would be working in a metro city like Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai etc. Software job is monotonous. Software companies are the first to lay off people when the going gets tough, such as a recession. Government jobs are less. Mechanical-

In my personal opinion, CSE branch has more scope as compare to Mechanical Engineering. Almost all sectors function with the assistance of computer Science engineers. It is one of the branches of engineering which has experienced an exponential increase in demand. Computer engineers are responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining computer software and hardware. They make sure that the physical hardware and software programming components of their client's systems are in working order. They may specialize in a variety of fields like programming, security, hardware or IT. Computer engineers also collaborate with di

As per my knowledge both the specialisation is good in their own place. You only have to understand your interest and passion in which field you can become successful with the help of your hard work. I will suggest to take CSE if you want immediate and good paid jobs in IT. Every organisation or company requires to be present digitally, be it banks, hospitals, education, or railways. Computer Science and Information Technology are one of the most evergreen professions and will continue to rise in the years to comeIf you are looking for the best University for both these branches, I would suggest you go for Geeta University as it is the

If you are intrigued by machine designs, their mechanics, and dynamics, go for mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineering yields some similarities, the biggest difference between the two careers is what professionals in the field engineer. The scope of higher education is high after B.Tech CSE, and students who are planning to go abroad for higher studies will be most beneficial with this degree. B.Tech CSE is the best option if you want to start your own business or venture into the field of Software or IT. Both are good streams but it depends on your interest as to which stream you want to join and interested in. LPU is the best

It is depend on your interest. In present time, computer and mechanical both are overloaded branches. Most of the students can take these branches but in my opinion, you can choose other branches like fire and safety, agriculture, electrical, electronic so best of luck for future.

I've had a really good experience with the mechanical engineering faculty at Chandigarh University. Most of them are PhD holders, so you can tell they know their subject inside out. What I like is that they're not just teaching from books—they share real-world examples, guide us in labs, and help with projects. The faculty is approachable, so if you ever get stuck on something, you can just ask, and they'll explain patiently. They also encourage students to explore electives like Thermal & Energy Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or Design & Robotics, and help you pick what suits your career goals.

Yes, Chandigarh University is a good choice for B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. What I really like about the programme is the variety of specializations you can pick, like Thermal & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Management, or Automation & Robotics. The labs are another strong point from 3D printing and advanced welding labs to industry-backed centres by Honda, Mahindra, Hyundai, and MG Motors. These collaborations give you hands-on exposure that feels very close to real-world industry work. On top of that, the department is both ABET and NBA accredited, which adds global recognition. With regular industrial visits, workshops, and
