Computer engineering is most probably better, as it having many fields of job. But beyond their technical bent, the two can be quite different. Mechanical engineers invent new products, while computer programmers use electronic languages to write new software. You'll need varying levels of education to enter either field, though the skills sets, pay and job outlook are all similar. Hope this information will help you.

Hi,
How are you?
Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
So, choose a suitable branch.
Go for it.
