Tall, fair, elegant, good-looking and much more, this is the ordinary belief about the modeling industry that floats in the market, but, surprisingly the industry is much more deeply professional than being a mannequin to walk the ramp. As a photographer I feel that a decade ago, fashion world was more inclined towards glitz and glamour, but with the changing world of fashion, industry growth and raised level of competition, the in and out of models has become difficult. Nowadays, its not just the looks and the angle, but something greater which comprises etiquettes, mannerism and strict professionalism toward the work. As the designers have become more conscious about the theme and their collection, so do they are concerned about the models. The leading fashion shows of India, now conduct proper audition with ace panelists from different walks of life including fashion photography, grooming, designing and choreography.

There is no specific course that can train you to become a successful model. The process to become a model seems quite easy and straightforward while walking on the road is quite difficult and that's the only reason most feel that it is hard, because it requires a lot of consistency and patience. Here are some of the list of things, you can start. - Start from the beginning: Figure out that what all the aspect you've been missed and start working on those things from scratch. For example: maybe your face doesn't have a good jawline, now all you have to do is start working on your face structure. Surf the internet and find out how to get your face in a good shape. - Take a membership in any a decent fitness center: Yes, fitness is a crucial part when you talk about modeling so in order to get in a good shape you must have a right guidance to work on yourself. Maybe you can go for a PT (Personal trainer) and a dietitian. -Go for a professional photo shoot: Make your profile to show how you look how you face the screen and how confident you are. - Apply for beauty pageants and some of the modeling agencies: Once you have your modeling profile, now you can apply in various modeling pageants and agencies. Go to auditions and if you've worked hard you are going to get it.
