    Hi Arpit,
    The best options in front of you after a B.Com (honors) are:
    1. MBA finance from a reputed B-School which has 100% campus recruitment. You need to appear for CAT or similar exams for that. Its of no use to waste 10 to 20 lakhs INR in an ordinary MBA college as they are abundant in the country nowadays. Most students passing out from ordinary MBA colleges are either remaining unemployed or working for 5 to 10k salaried jobs. So if it is an MBA, it must be from an IIM or similar ranked B-school.
    2. You may go for Indian Professional Accounting Course like CA/ICWA. However, get ready to study hard for the next 3 to 5 years before

    Dear Arpit, There are many career options that you can opt after completing B.Com honors. The most common choices are:
    1) Chartered Accountant (CA)
    2) Masters of Commerce (M.Com)
    3) Masters of Business Administration (MBA in Finance)
    4) Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
    5) Certified Public Accounting (CPA)
    6) Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
    7) Business Accounting and Taxation (BAT). Most of these programs are offered by very few institutions apart from M.Com and MBA. You will need to choose from various colleges/universities. But I suggest you to choose only from the institutions of high repute like Iims, SPJMER, Gre

    Firstly if you have an academic bent of mind, then you can go for M.Com and then a Ph.D. This way you will become a professor in a reputed university. Secondly you can go for an MBA. There are various streams to choose from:

    There are many career options, it totally depends upon your interest in which direction you want to proceed. Likewise you can go for M.Com MBA, MBA in financial markets, Business Analytics, Marketing etc. Management field will give you better experience.     After completion of B.Com (Hons.), you can apply in any organization for the post of accountant. Every company requires accountant to keep track the profit and loss of their company. One must have knowledge in areas like Basic Principles of Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Management Accounting to be an accountant. Other than accountant, there are many career options in this field. Individuals also have the option to pursue higher studies after B.Com. (Hons.).     You can join some job in the respective field or you can go for higher studies such as M.Com or MBA in Financial Markets, MBA in Marketing or any other specialisation of your interest. You can even do dual specialisation. Quite a few appreciate diversity. You can prepare for competitive exams such as SSC Banking, Government Exams, etc. You can do:
