The hostels of LPU are most comfortable and damn strict. There is no compromise when it comes to the security of the students. LPU residential facilities are as state of the art as the campus is. There is a round-the-clock vigil through security cameras and there is a huge army of security personnel deployed all over the university. LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the AC and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box B.Ed Study Table, Chair, and Almirah. Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets having a maximum load of up to 5 amperes per apartment. One and two Seater apartments have attached lobby and kitchenette. There is an electricity backup and water supply. In addition to it, staff assistance and medical service (Medicines and tests On Payment). Study Room, TV Room, Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility, Maintenance Services, Wi-Fi Service, Free Electricity Units (As Applicable). There is 24 hr.

Hii there, Being a student of LPU I would like to answer the question regarding LPU, being a student I had a great experience over there; I've been there at the University for 2 years. The Hostel life of LPU is really-really amazing. I can't explain you in my word. It is awesome. The Conditions of the Rooms, Mess, Washrooms, and Canteens are all well managed. There is a special grievance option available on the University Management System regarding the residential facilities and the problems are solved instantly. LPU hostel life is amazing when you become a part of LPU hostel you also feel the same because LPU allows meeting with people who belongs to different nation; usually, we never get a chance to meet people due to the modern era we all get busy is daily life. We can learn various things from different people who become the rooms at LPU so this is the best p [part of LPU life. LPU infrastructure is also amazing All the facilities are available on the campus itself; a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and students, shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 3 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM, etc. You never fell homesick at the LPU hostel! LPU has 8 boys hostels and 6 girls hostels. LPU has no ragging policy and it is strictly followed throughout the campus. Students study in their rooms or go to the library at night and after coming back they all have fun in each others rooms or in the corridors.

Entry of boys is strictly prohibited in girls hostel and vice versa. The hostel has many variants. You can opt for Single seater, 2 seater, 4 seater or 6 seater depending upon the availability of the same. One more advantage of staying in LPU hostel is that you get 24x7 library access. LPU offers a huge Library System with 11 branches. There are more than 43 Lacs books and e-books on all subject fields. Library system subscribes number of journals, magazines and newspapers.

I am a student at LPU and would like to tell that we have 8 boys and 6 girls hostel in the campus. 1-If you are a male you have 24+7 access to entry and exit in the hostel and for girls it is 7pm for last entry. (for security purposes). However library access for them is open at defined hours after 7 pm along with the guards 2-Your entry and exit would be governed by your fingerprint and ID card which makes it a very secure environment. 3-You have free access 24*7 for the internet but strict actions for using any unadvisable sites. 4-We have a internal student portal called UMS where you can mark any complaint, requests or leaves in the system. 5-Non veg is not allowed in the hostel. It is little weird but LPU says we believe in respect of every religion and caste so I think it is fair enough as we have a separate canteen for non veg where you are free to go and eat. We have various cuisines like North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthan etc. 6-We have innumerable kiosks in and around the campus for mouth watering food. 7-We have a university hospital in the campus, so in case of any sickness or emergency the ambulance is at the hostel GATE in no time 8-They have cameras installed all over the hostel including each corridor which helps with a better security overall. 9-The basic necessity shops and parlours are there inside the girls hostel too. 10- We have 24 hours electricity and water supply. With all rooms having attached washroom and geysers provided each. 11- Campus is tobacco free and ragging free making it a healthy safe environment. Hope this post helps to answer your query.

Well, I can share with you my friend's sister who passed out last year only. Whenever I asked her to sum up in one word your hostel life she simply smiles and says *Joyful* She discussed with me she had the privilege to do birthday parties within hostels, doing her naughty stuff like knocking on unknown girls' rooms doors and then running away from their, late-night Gupshup, chitchat they all used to do, play their favorite sports in hostel grounds, enjoying their favorite meals, snacks in the canteen as well; apart from hostel mess, go for outings after the consent of wardens and parents, without any tension roam around corridors, for fitness go for indoor stadium gym as per timing, enjoy their Sundays by doing shopping even in university mall itself, attending live concerts of famous singers like B park, etc., live film promotions by actors like Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Sharukh Khan, etc. And her list was so long which reflects that life at LPU is colorful and joyful. LPUs residential Facilities are indeed exceptionally well organized and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. When it comes to Homelike Healthy stay LPUs residential Facilities are Number 1. I wish each student to experience once such kind of memorable and happy moments that only hostel life can give. Hostel environments are very upbeat. You'll appreciate living in a dorm if you're an excellent student. LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world, and I can attest to this because I stayed there in Boys Hostel 5 (BH5). LPU ensures a ragging-free atmosphere with its 4000+ CCTV cameras, 400+ security guards, A+ fire stations, and cutting-edge security equipment. In my opinion, one should stay in an LPU hostel because they are kept up nicely and are quiet. The advantages of hostel lodging are numerous. In order to ensure that every movement is tracked, LPU also incorporates boom barriers for trucks and Turnstile gates at key entry/exit locations. Therefore, you are unable to leave your hostels without permission. Boys are not allowed in the girls' dorm and vice versa. After 8 o'clock at night, entry to the boys' hostel is restricted and only permitted with the warden's permission. The hostel comes in a variety. Depending on the number of seats available, you can choose from a single seater, a two-seater, a four-seater, or a six-seater. You can inform the warden of your concern if you experience any issues with your roommate. Your room might be changed if your justification is valid. You get access to the library around-the-clock if you stay at the LPU dorm. With 11 branches, the LPU Library System is extensive. On all topic areas, there are more than 43 Lacs books and e-books available. A variety of journals, magazines, and newspapers are subscribed by the library system. The infrastructure of the hostel is quite well built with all the conveniences a student may need, and the rooms are cleaned every two days. The LPU campus is so large that you can easily find more than 400 kiosks there where you may get any food you want. Very delicious food is served in the dorm mess. For pupils from diverse zones, they offer a food selection that is specifically tailored to their needs. There are too many choices available. There are 17 multi stories Hostels including Luxury Apartments available in the LPU. Each hostel has it own entrance and exit, dedicated Wardens, Maintenance staff, Mess, Tuck Shop and what not. Apart from all the liesures in the LPU Hostels, there are few restrictions and strict for the safety and security concern. LPU residential services are considered as one the largest in INDIA.
