What type of environment is there in the hostels of LPU?

I would love to share the quarry regarding LPU, being an alumni I had a great experience over there; I've been there at the University for 4 years. All facilitates are provided at the Campus Hostel and you'll have the complete choice to choose the accommodation that suits you and your budget. The Conditions of the Rooms, Mess, Washrooms and Canteens are all well managed. There is a special grievance option available on the University Management System regarding the residential facilities and the problems are solved instantly. LPU hostel life is really amazing when you become the part of LPU hostel you also fell the same because LPU gives the opportunity to meet with people who belongs to different nation; usually we never get a chance meet people due to modern era we all get busy are daily life. We can learn various thing from different people who become the rooms at LPU so this is best p [art if LPU life. LPU infrastructure is also amazing All the facilities are available on the campus itself; a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and students, shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 3 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM, etc. You never fell home sick at LPU hostel! Hello Being an alumni I had spent my 2 Years in LPU during my pursuance of MBA programme & I really enjoyed each & every moment of my campus life. I want to say something Packing bags, arranging books, finding old stuff back It wasn't easy as I thought My memories overweighed my luggage AS I had left my hostel room for the last time. LPU campus is regarded as one of the best campuses among private universities in India. Similarly, LPUs infrastructure is one of the biggest and best in the world. The campus of LPU is surrounded by trees and gardens that make teaching and learning environment more comfortable. The pollution-free and healthy environment at LPU campus is other major highlights of the campus. In LPU, the key points of hostel facilities are1. CCTV based security in both boys and girls hostel. 2. A dedicated team of warden and workers who are available in the hostel for 24 hours in shifts to provide facilities to students. 3. Best north, south and other food facilities in the mess with quality and taste4. Near to hostels, there are playgrounds to play basketball, football, badminton, cricket. 5. Indoor stadium for swimming, gyming, and learning various exciting games6. Flexible timing to visit Unimall, library and work at innovation studio7. Due to students from across the country, students are getting interacted with them and capturing various positive vibes in terms of language and knowledge sharing. 8. In the weekends, DSW (Department of student welfare organizes various activities related to sports and entertainment for hostel students. 9. Hostels are fully air-cooled with the option of both cooler and AC. 10. The rooms have attached the washroom and each student has a separate B.Ed chair, study table, fan, almirah with locker facility. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). Mess facility with vegetarian meals only. Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis). Students in residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, Mobile Charger, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Hi, let me just assure you the hostel life in LPU is safe and secure. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. It is manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. The campus has a 24 hours 30 B.Ed hospital which is staffed with resident medical officers, medical lab, dieticians and physiotherapists. In house laundry services are available at a nominal charges to students. Keeping student's requirements in mind, University offers quality residence (offering above average necessities) for their living comforts. Become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. Become independent! The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Sports facility is being introduced with membership of 3 different packages of games:SwimmingShootingSquash, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Combative sports. Students can join all these memberships on a yearly basis.

In one word I can say LPU Hostel is the most "Safe & Secured" for both boys & Girls. Student will definitely fully enjoy their academic life in most Controlled environment. The LPU is a world-class university. It has all the state-of-the-art facilities both in the academic and residential blocks. The LPU has hundreds of cameras installed and a big number of security guards deployed at all the checkpoints. The hostel includes the services like Wi-Fi, Departmental Stores, Attached Washroom, Laundry Service, Mess Facility, Hospital Facility, ATM, gymnasiums, bowling alleys, restaurants, playgrounds, nonveg mess, etc. LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the AC and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. The hostel has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthan and many other Regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of food is good. Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea is served at breakfast. In lunch Dry Vegetables, Dal, any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati and Raita are served. The dinner Chapati, Seasonal Vegetables, Rice and Desserts. The campus is ragging-free, drug-free and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can lodge a complaint. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest. Apart from that there ar 24 Hrs. Electricity backup Water Supply, and services available There are female security guards who look after the security of the girls' hostel. The campus is ragging-free, tobacco-free, and drug-free so there is no need to fear. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. Of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Resident girl students are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point in time. They have to seek permission from the university and the university informs their parents about their leaves and moves. No one can breach the security of the hostel as neither are the boys allowed to enter the girls' hostel nor the walls of the hostel can be climbed as they are very high. Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline. This does give a feeling of prison as the students say in JEST but it's for their safety. This is the reason why we don't come across any untoward incidents.

Dear Raghav, The environment of hostels is very joyful. If you are a good student then you will enjoy your hostel life. As I has stayed there in boys hostel 5 (BH5) I can say that LPU is one of the safest campuses of the world. With 4000+ CCTV cameras, 400+ security persons, A+ fire stations and high tech security gadgets LPU ensure ragging free environment. In my opinion one should stay in hostel of LPU because those hostels are maintained quiet well. There are many benefits of staying in hostel. LPU also has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles ensuring that every movement is monitored. So you can not sneak out unnecessary from your hostels. Entry of boys is strictly prohibited in girls hostel and vice versa. Entry in boys hostel after 8 pm is restricted and is allowed only after consulting the warden. The hostel has many variants. You can opt for Single seater, 2 seater, 4 seater or 6 seater depending upon the availability of the same. If you have any problem with your room partner then you can report your concern to the warden. If your reason is genuine then your room might be changed. One more advantage of staying in the LPU hostel is that you get 24x7 library access. LPU offers a huge Library System with 11 branches. There are more than 43 Lacs books and e-books in all subject fields. The Library system subscribes to a number of journals, magazines, and newspapers. The rooms are cleaned after every two days and the infrastructure of the hostel is very well constructed with all the amenities a student may require. LPU campus is so huge that you will easily find more than 400 kiosks within the campus from which you can have anything you want to eat. The hostel mess provides very tasty food. They have a food menu specially customized for students belonging to different zones. There are too many options to choose from. Even if you want to skip a meal, then also you can pay less accordingly. LPU also has a non-veg mess ( third party vendor) so you can opt for the plans accordingly I hope this helps Thanks!

Hi Raghav, is it the security that you are worried about. Well from the view point of management as a faculty, I would say that Lovely Professional University is completely safe & secure, 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances. Following are the security measures undertaken by the university for the safety of the students: 1) There are 7400+ CCTV surveillance on a 24X7 basis from every corner. 2) 400+ Security Officials are there. LPU security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. 3) Drug Free Campus (Zero tolerance towards drugs & alcohol. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus). 4) A+ Fire Station is there 5) A+ Hi Tech. Security Gadgets are installed. 6) TURNSTILE GATES & BOOM BARRIERS: LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. In such an atmosphere you can well imagine how the boys or girls could be.

Hi Raghav, Lovely Professional University provides the largest residential capacity in the world. LPU hostel is the safest place on the campus. Its hostel environment is super conducive to learning. Staying in a hostel gives you top notch security as compared to staying in a P. G, Coz as you are far from your home, so you need to feel that home vibe here also and secondly you have no idea about the environment where you are going.

Personally as a recipient here at Lovely Professional University, I can say that the hostel life at LPU is very amazing. Having lived in hostels before, I am very impressed with the services we receive here at the LPU. For me, infrastructure plays an important role, so the environment, the place I go in here is peaceful. There are 6 girl hostel blocks. Blocks 1, 2, 3 and 4 are attached, and they resemble a small community itself. We have a beautiful garden and two basketball courts. There are 23 gyms under the hostel. Now I think, big swimming pools are also there in the campus with many more upgraded facilities In line with that, there are parlors for personal adjustment. The canteens have a variety of foods, as well as chaos for all those who chose dirt at the beginning of the semester. Hostel life here is safe and secure. Some may feel that hostel times are too tight but that is actually maintaining good university morals, which will not only help now but will help to instill good morals in life in the future.
